An alumni of Deloitte, Jodi has over 27 years or experience in financial accounting and taxation. Jodi is a senior level executive with extensive hands-on experience in management, business leadership and working with Board of Directors, Banks, and Attorneys. She strives to create systems and processes for businesses that can improve efficiency and profitability. She has an established record of success in significantly growing enterprise value. She is strong in budgets, cash forecasts, financial operations, and taxation. She currently manages the operations of the firm encouraging collaboration with her staff to assist clients with the expertise necessary to manage the accounting and tax aspects of their businesses.
She is a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor, helping thousands of business owners set up and customize their accounting systems. Her approach with her clients is described as "comfortable sophistication" meaning she can take complex issues and explain them easily to clients.
She is an avid runner and has run eleven marathons including The Boston Marathon in 2008 and 2009.

Joni brings over 15 years of accounting experience to Whittaker & Associates, Inc. Her diverse experience includes: wholesale, property development, automotive, payroll and employee benefit programs. She also has experience in the governmental sector. She specializes in payroll and QuickBooks consulting. In addition, she serves several clients as their Outsourced CFO.
She is also experienced in taxation and has prepared both federal and state returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals.
In her spare time, Joni and her husband enjoy their children's sports activities, traveling, and gardening.

Anya Oates
Accounting Specialist

Anya has been with the firm since the summer of 2007. She provides various accounting and bookkeeping services for clients including accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, inventory tracking, cash management, budgeting and financial reporting. Her experience includes wholesale, retail, and real estate. She also prepares individual tax returns including those for sole proprietors and rental real estates.
Aside from providing these services for clients, she is also responsible for maintaining smooth office operations and maintaining client and vendor accounts for Whittaker & Associates, Inc.
In her spare time she thoroughly enjoys summer activities such as camping, fishing, swimming, and gardening. She also loves a good horror flick and is the lead singer in a band. Her favorite activity is spending time with friends and family, especially when it involves great food!
